2026 ESC Region 19 Behavior Conference
The Region 19 Behavior Conference 2026 is a dynamic, one-day professional learning event dedicated to equipping educators and school support personnel with strategies that prioritize relationships as the foundation for academic and behavioral success. Guided by this year's theme “Connection Before Content,” this conference emphasizes the power of trust, belonging, and authentic engagement as the first step toward learning.
Participants will explore evidence-based practices and real-world tools that foster safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all students. Breakout sessions will feature topics such as Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), trauma-informed approaches, restorative practices, social-emotional learning (SEL), and relationship-centered classroom management. From Tier 1 proactive strategies to individualized supports, the conference will highlight how meaningful connections can transform behavior, engagement, and achievement.
Whether you are a teacher, counselor, administrator, paraprofessional, or support staff member, the Region 19 Behavior Conference 2026 will provide practical, ready-to-use techniques that honor the whole child—and the whole educator—by putting connection at the center of every interaction. This is your opportunity to learn, collaborate, and leave inspired to create classrooms and campuses where students feel seen, heard, and valued.
